KATHERINE STEELE …Cambodia
I moved here in 2008 and adopted my son Joshua in 2009. I have been running a home for 24 beautiful kids since 2010. Many of the children have come from rough backgrounds, some from a system similar to foster care in the States & fostering in the UK.
Is it not the greatest feeling to be adopted by God, to be part of His family? To learn what love is, and to be secure in and wanted by Him? Our hope is to share that same experience with the beautiful children entrusted to us. We desire to provide not only for their physical needs such as food, shelter and education, but also we hope to provide a family and a real home for each child.
The apostle John once said that it was his greatest joy to watch His children walk in truth (3 John 1:4). I agree. Watching our children grow up and change from frightened kids to healthy & beautiful kids who know they are loved by their creator is a joy. It’s a very slow & prayerful process but a beautiful one. Thank you for your prayers and support.
